Can your company help?

Many companies choose to organise events and raise vital funds for the Cancer Charity to support the work of Weston Park Hospital across our region. From a sponsored head shave to a charity ball, all the funds raised are making a real difference to local people with cancer. We also organise a number of events for you or your colleagues to get involved in. There's something to suit everyone.

Does your company have a charity of the year? Why not nominate the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity?

We are here to help. We have a dedicated fundraising team who can help your company decide the best ways to work with us. Below are some examples of how our corporate supporters get involved...

Sheffield United Football Club

We are very pleased to announce that Sheffield United have nominated the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity as one of their official charities for 2009.

Sheffield United have generously supported local cancer patients since our Charity began 15 years ago; through their Superdraw lottery, regular donations, match day collections, personal appearances and much more. We look forward to working with them even more closely in the year to come.

ECS

Sheffield based finance company ECS nominated two 'Charity Champions' to organise their fundraising for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.

With two divisions, of Insurance Brokers and Financial Services, based in two separate offices the Charity Champions work to organise fundraising and social events which bring the staff together to enhance team work and boost morale. They organise many activities including BBQ's, formal dinners with management and clients, and every week they hold a dress down day. We thank them for all they do.

Excel Parking

For many years Excel Parking has been raising funds to support cancer research, treatment and care at Weston Park Hospital.

The Excel Team are regular challengers at our summer Dragon Boat Regatta and their exhibition staff spread the word about the Cancer Charity far and wide by selling promotional items on our behalf. The company have shown true commitment to improving the lives of local cancer patients.

Granada Secondary Glazing

Chesterfield based Granada Secondary Glazing committed to improving the lives of local cancer patients when they made us their Charity of the Year.

The company started at Christmas by giving donations in lieu of their normal corporate gifts to clients and suppliers. This brought us vitally needed funds and also helped spread the word to other companies about how they can help improve cancer research, treatment and care at Weston Park Hospital, the region's specialist cancer centre.

Fitness Unlimited

We are pleased to announce that Fitness Unlimited have chosen Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity as their nominated charity for 2009. This is the first time that Fitness Unlimited has chosen a specific charity to support, and are delighted with the partnership.

Fitness Unlimited aims to provide affordable fitness for all. By being physically active, you can reduce your risk of breast and bowel cancer – in fact, by keeping active we could help prevent 9,000 cases of cancer in the UK every year. We hope that by working with Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity we can help with the prevention of cancer by providing information and guidance on ways to keep the people across the region fit, active and healthy.
